Southwest Truck Service has expanded to become one of California's dominant common / contract refrigerated carriers during their forty years of dedicated service. Originally Central Coast Truck Service, the company transported general commodities to and from the major markets of California. In 1968 Central Coast Truck Service expanded their California market share with the acquisition of Lonnie Case Trucking.
Central Coast Truck Service extended into the interstate movement of retail grocery merchandise in 1974 with the acquisition of Geribaldi Trucking of Phoenix, Arizona. The newly acquired company was renamed to Southwest Truck Service, Inc.
Over the past two decades, Southwest Truck Service has expanded their interstate movement of retail grocery merchandise and exempt produce from the agricultural regions of the Western states. With dependability and reliability becoming Southwest Truck Service trademarks, the California marketplace is now more available to out-of-state suppliers than ever before.
With an annual movement of over 20,000 truckload shipments, our customers have come to rely on the dependability Southwest Truck Service provides.
